What are hormones?

- Oxytocin is a hormone that is secreted by the pituitary gland. It is involved in social bonding, sexual reproduction, and childbirth. Oxytocin is also a stress hormone that can help to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.
- Norepinephrine is a hormone that is released by the body in response to stress. It is responsible for the “fight or flight” response, which is the body’s natural reaction to a perceived threat.
